Think Outside the Pews

Some people think that just because our church was founded in 1845, that we're just a stuffy old conventional congregation. The Thinking Outside the Pews amateur video series celebrates the vitality with which our congregation lives out its core values and invites all to join us in that celebration. If you or someone else you know has been Thinking Outside the Pews, tell us about it.  We might just make a video!  If you've got an idea on how we can better think outside the pews, share it with us. We might just implement it!  And, if you would like to start thinking outside the pews, but you're not quite sure how . . . well we can help you with that too.

Senior High youth group member at First Presbyterian Shreveport, Evan Richey, discusses community within the church and how serving alongside and sharing their lives with each other builds relationships. If you think youth group ought to be about going to cool places, learning what it means to follow Jesus Christ, or changing the world that we are going to inherit; or even just hanging out with friends everyday, then join us. Wherever you want to hang out, we'll join you. And if you don't know what it means to follow Christ, well...we can help you with that too.
