Translating Our Core Values

If traditional Worship in the Reformed tradition with strong Biblical preaching and vibrant music is a core value of ours, then our Vision for the future call us to restore our beloved sanctuary and to enhance our ability in that sacred space to worship God and to proclaim, hear and experience the Good News.

If being a caring and welcoming Community is a core value of ours, then our Vision for the future calls us to create a warm, welcoming, user-friendly, inviting, accessible facility for all ages of people that incorporates gathering and fellowship spaces throughout the building.

If Outreach is a core value of ours then our Vision for the future calls us to create a dedicated space in the facility for our Outreach partners.  As part of our Vision for the future we believe we are called to remain rooted at 900 Jordan St.— a unique geographic location accessible by I-20 and I-49, on the edge of downtown, on the edge of Highland— and to join hands both with other churches and our Outreach partners in Highland and with those we minister with and to, as we make our way on the Journey together.

If innovative, quality Christan Education for all ages is a core value of ours, then our Vision for the future calls us to create spaces within our facility where learning and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with our members and our community is accomplished through teachers and pastors who have available to them cutting-edge technology and media in spaces conducive to the learning experience.

If Diversity of thought and circumstance among our members is a core value of ours, then our Vision for the future calls us to create a facility of simple taste and design that exemplifies the welcoming, open minded spirit of the congregation that worships within its walls.
