Children

Children are full participants in the church's worship and mission. Children are welcomed to stay in worship where they can find age-specific Bibles and worship bags to help them engage worship in developmentally appropriate ways.

 

Children help lead in worship by serving as acolytes, bringing in the communion elements, taking up the offering, and reading Scripture.

 

A nursery for infants and toddlers is provided during both the 8:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. worship services and an extended Sunday school session is available for children ages two to three.  There is also a children's worship time available for children ages four years to first grade.  Children entering into second grade attend a worship readiness class in the fall and are encouraged to stay and participate fully in worship.
