First Presbyterian Day School

Come and join your FPDS friends for 11 days loaded with SUMMER activities! Six weeks from June 4 – July 11 (closed July 4^th) on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30am-2:00pm.

Each classroom enjoys age-appropriate activities in a safe and nurturing environment. The baby room will be busy with balls, bubbles, and buckets! Walkers will be exploring new sounds, new words activities, and games. The Two year olds will be busy with fine motor games and building their vocabulary with friends. 3, 4, and 5’s will enjoy special songs, summer crafts and stories while socializing with friends.

Please complete this REGISTRATION FORM and return with your Summer Fee. $300 Summer Fun Fee ($50 sibling discount). Class space will be limited and placement will be on first-come, first-served basis. ENROLLMENT accepted for current families BEGINNING TUESDAY, MARCH 5th. All fees are non-refundable with $200 due to confirm placement beginning March 5th and the balance due no later than June 4th. Return forms and payment to:

First Presbyterian Day School is a ministry of First Presbyterian Church Shreveport.  The preschool program offers developmentally appropriate practices of early childhood education.  We provide a healthy, safe environment in which teachers and children together may learn to live  in a Christ-like way.  We value each child's individual need for growth in the areas of social, emotional, physical, spiritual and cognitive development.  We welcome families from all races and faiths.

 

First Presbyterian Day School serves children from the ages of three months to four years of age.  This unique program is well-known throughout the Shreveport-Bossier area.  Each staff member is trained and certified in infant/ child CPR and first aid.  Every classroom follows a two-adult policy for all ages.

We believe that your child's preschool experience can influence the way he or she feels about school and learning for many years to come. Children are prepared for Kindergarten and beyond in the three and four year-old classrooms.  Each classroom in this age group maintains a certified teacher and an aide.  Emphasis is placed on developing skills in the areas of:

Children in the Preschool K3 and K4 program receive additional enrichment activities in spiritual development, music and movement, and library story time.
