Men's Prayer Breakfast

This long-standing group of men of all ages meets in the Dining Room from7:00-8:00 AM on the first Tuesday of the month, September through June (unless otherwise notified).  During the hearty breakfast, fellowship is the order of the day, and conversation ranges from lighthearted banter to serious concerns.  After the meal, a list of members who are hospitalized, living in a nursing home or assisted living setting is passed out, and additional prayer concerns are added to this list.  Then one member, or sometimes a guest, offers a brief lesson, story or meditation.  The heart of the meeting is its conclusion with intercessory prayers offered by each in attendance, praying around the table, and concluding with the Lord's Prayer.
